Dead Game Frame 2

Hi,

My Game Frame has made a fall!! Shock!!! When I started it again I got some pixels flickering then nothing… the motherboard red led was blinking…
Anyway, after some investigating I found the blue wire to the LEDs has come loose! Is there a way to fix this with very basic soldering skills?? And how do I open the frame?

Oh no! I’m afraid the wire does need to be resoldered, and opening the case requires heating the corners with a hot air gun for a few minutes. If you want to send it back, I can attempt the repair for you. Send me an email (jeremy at this domain) and we’ll exchange details.

Hi I have an original kickstarter GF. I hadnt plugged it in for a few years. But got enthused – I see you have a wifi adapter. But when I plugged it in just now, I only get a flash of random array red and blue pixels. On the back the Led gets bright then dimly flickers quickly. Any ideas?
